How the scan works. Being in the universe isn't enough. A stock also has to be trending up, or reversing from a downtrend. We buy breakouts and ride trends.
The macro/thematic layer on top. This is a layer that stands on top of the scan. We leverage it to find the leading themes and factors in the market.
Where things stand right now: broad risk-on/risk-off, a deeper look at biotech, the potential bottom forming in Bitcoin (yes, even after being one of the more bearish voices on it since late last year, this could be shaping up as a seasonal low around the midterms).
