Big oil call buying stacking up while a software name draws size

This note highlights a select group of stocks showing the most unusual — and highly directional — options activity.

The goal is simple: follow the big money and trade in the direction of the underlying trend.

Exxon Mobil Corp $XOM — Integrated oil major catching a bid, with the tape leaning into the strongest name in the group. Someone stacked size here and it's the biggest contract count on the energy side of the board.

2,048 contracts of the 7/31 $160 calls just hit for $133K.

Chevron Corp $CVX — The other half of the energy trade, and this one carries even more premium behind it. Longer-dated, patient, and pointed higher.

1,230 contracts of the 10/16 $210 calls changed hands for $315K.

Samsara Inc $IOT — Infrastructure software that's been slowly grinding higher while the flashier names hog the spotlight. This is a long-dated bet, and the flow is betting the reversal continues higher.

307 contracts of the 12/18 $45 calls just landed for $129K.
