I've made it no secret that I harbor ill-will towards the hyper-promotion of sport gambling. As a father of an 11 year-old sports fan, I find it distasteful that he can't watch any sporting events without getting pounded over the head to get involved in online gambling.
But as a trader, I cannot deny the power of these businesses and the fact that seemingly every adult sports fan is getting involved on these platforms. And that means their stocks are trending.
And I'm nothing if not an opportunist.
