The Fuel Behind the Supercycle

A weakening dollar, rising global yields, and broadening participation are setting the stage for the next leg higher.

We kicked off this week’s Monday Money Moves video the same way we always do… by zooming out.

Because if you don’t understand the environment, you have no business allocating capital within it.

And right now, we're seeing the Supercycle broaden.

What started with Gold, expanded into Copper, and drew energy with it is now spreading across the entire complex. 

We’re seeing base metals break out, Lithium and battery tech push to new highs, and agriculture quietly build massive bases.

From there, we looked at the macro drivers behind all of this, starting with the dollar.

The longer-term structure still points to a weak-dollar environment, and when you pair that with strength in commodities like Crude Oil, it's clear this is a full-fledged Supercycle.

At the same time, global 30-year yields continue to push higher, not just in the U.S., but across major economies.

That combination is exactly the kind of backdrop that fuels expansionary phases in the commodities complex.
